CALLING ALL DRIVING SCHOOLS: Become a vendor for TWC’s Driver Education Funding Program Now!

The Texas Foster Youth Justice Project (TFYJP) is working diligently to ensure that all qualifying youth and young adults are aware of the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Driver Education Funding Program, which will cover all costs for their driver education classes, behind-the-wheel training, road tests and other fees necessary to obtain a driver’s license. TFYJP is also working to recruit driving schools to join as vendors for the program. Driving schools can join the program as vendors to get paid to provide driver education and other services to eligible youth and young adults who are currently in or aged out of foster care, are considered homeless, or are survivors of family/ dating violence.

*TWC will pay driving schools, as vendors, for all driver education services at the same market rate that the school would typically charge for their services.*
